Thirty years spent in the advanced steel work industry . Thirty years waiting the material which would give his concepts substance: stainless steel.

Then rejecting the idea that such a pure material could have mainly an industrial finality, Robert Quenillet decides to head for the stainless steel work. His existence taking a new direction, but however he does not forget his former activities from which he keeps the rigor and precision which characterises, today, his creations.

Having received, in 2002, the silver medal Arts-Sciences-Lettres and, in 2001, the silver medal Mérite et Dévouement Français au titre de l'Art, Robert Quenillet has also carried off in 2000, the prize for sculpture of Beziers' township 44 Th International Art Exhibition. Devoting himself today entirely to his art, Robert Quenillet lives in the south of France.
